The Consultant primarily owns the testing of assigned products/applications and interacts with clients (internal and external) to formalize test strategies and plans. Consultant closely work with QA Lead to provides a structure for managing the project release testing, evaluate test results, and recommend improvements. The Consultant is the owner of the project activities and timely share the communication with project stakeholders. Should be able to create automation scripts and scan applications for security vulnerabilities.
You are great at:
Collaborates with the development team in creating, implementing, and maintaining test documents. Own the Project / assigned features testing.
Coordinates defect validation with test team and assist the development team in recreating defects
Creates and maintains testing environments and associated test data
Monitors product quality throughout the release life cycle
Evaluates readiness of product for customer availability
Lead the software quality assurance function and perform initial signoff as condition for production system release
Provide post-implementation support for all deliverables
Should plan and develop the test automation suite for the project.
Communicates task progress and status of deliverables to Delivery Manager(s)
Should be able to perform manual security scan or scan using tools (ex: BURP) and create reports.
What it takes:
3 - 6 years of experience in quality assurance with solid knowledge on the testing strategies, process, and business domains.
Strong testing knowledge on Banking Application.
Can demonstrate his/her ability to make data driven decisions and reports
Experience with test automation with Selenium and ability to lead test strategies
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team (internal and external)
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment with challenging deadlines
Experience working in complex environments using Iterative, Agile and TDD
Working knowledge of additional tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
Has basic hands-on experience with Java programming
Strong XML knowledge and experience working on web services-based projects
Has hands on experience with SQL and SQL query tools
Strong knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Must be able to learn new technologies and processes quickly
Must be capable of paying attention to detail and adhering to project timelines
Must be capable of working without repetitive direction
Should able to perform manual security scan or scan using security tools (ex: BURP)
