Required Skills:
Execute functional, unit, regression, and automation tests to assure that system requirements have been met
Analyze requirements and highlight gaps
Identify test cases, write plans/procedures, execute tests, analyze results, and write deficiency reports
Escalate testing issues as appropriate
Leverage Jira and confluence systems to communicate status on bug triage and resolution and maintain test case lifecycle under HP Quality Center Skills & Experience Requirement:
Must have good communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with the software development and engineering counterparts in an agile development environment
Experience with functional testing, smoke testing, integration testing testing, UAT, black and white box testing, manual and automated testing
Experience with waterfall and Agile testing methodologies
Should be ready to work independently and pro-actively
Ability to test web-based application(s) in the following key areas:
N-tier application framework - Linux based VM environment
JavaScript & HTML
