Job Description

As a Quality Analyst, you'll create test scripts and sources, prepare test data, deliver a test execution schedule and perform testing. Alongside this, you'll work closely with the test manager and project team to make sure they're compliant with financial crime testing methods and standards.

We'll need you to develop test cases and conditions that'll verify the delivery of business requirements and perform full traceability and mapping of the business requirements through to the functional solution.

As well as this, you’ll be:
Documenting defects clearly and concisely in the defect management system
Making sure that test plans are adequately covered by test scenarios
Responsible for the integrity and consistency of testing required at all stages of the project lifecycle
Analysing the results of automated tests
Providing data to the business and the team that focuses on quality and quality improvement

The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with at least four years' experience and an understanding of structured query language and Unix. Knowledge and experience of automation concepts would be advantageous.

Additionally, you’ll have experience of applying a variety of testing automation tooling, as well as testing methodologies, including a range of Agile testing methods, such as test-driven development and behaviour-driven development.

We’ll also expect:
An understanding of how to test ideas, products, designs, planning and execution
Experience in functional and non-functional testing, including system integration, user, load, volume, stress, security, accessibility and compatibility
Demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team
A very capable communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
