Job Description

Skillset Requirements:
Exceptional comprehension skills, and ability to learn and contribute with minimal oversight - a self starter.
Should have started the career as a quality analyst and eventually grown to a managerial role.
Should have passion towards software testing . Candidates from product development company will be preferred.
Should be able to establish as a leader in a team of highly qualified technical team members.
Ability to think in abstract and quickly grasp the essence of the job at hand.
Ability for constant self learning leading to process reengineering and improvement
Should have effective conflict management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing with technical data
Ability to work with development team in the US
Should be able establish transparency in management across the teams.
Should be self driven and set clearly defined goals to accomplish 

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience. Related graduate degree preferred (Master's). 

Technical Requirements
Minimum 9 – 11 years of relevant experience.
Tech& MBA from reputed college.
Hands on experience on Manual Testing & Automation testing.
Must have lead a team of Quality Analysts for 4+ years.
Experience of working with major product & solutions.

Job Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage the overall strategy for the Quality Assurance team.
Scope and manage the test automation effort with a focus on efficient testing.
Create, measure, and report out key metrics for the performance of the QA team, as well as the quality and health of the various product lines.
Leverage resources to ensure adequate test coverage and establish best practices.
Lead multiple QA teams on the implementation of test strategies and set the team up for the future by bringing in progressive testing concepts to our organization that focus on efficiency while sacrifice nothing on quality.
Own the QA defect processes and documentation and ensure that a standard process is being followed across the organization, and that proper tooling and reporting are in place.
Act as a player/coach and bring leadership and guidance to the quality team across all facets of manual and automated testing efforts.
Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross functionally.
Motivate all team members to deliver high quality projects within committed time and budget.
Responsible for the career development and mentorship of the QA team and for identifying staffing/hiring needs.
