A self-managed individual who can build and scale the QA automation frameworks
Takes ownership of source control, sprint tasks, CI/CD pipeline, and automation framework improvements
Work closely with Quality Engineers, Automation Engineers, Developers & Product Owner to make sure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage
Automate and execute test scenarios/ run regression suits for existing and new solutions
Analyse, troubleshoot & fix automation framework issues and breaks; exhibits excellent technical troubleshooting ability; continuous improvement of test pipelines/suits
Remove roadblocks, escalate risks and work in a fast-paced and highly interactive environment
Focuses on process improvement and finds efficiency or suggests new ways of operating
Provides transparency through well-defined metrics, automation testing results, and reporting
Ability to deliver on a personal, team, and strategic objectives
Education and Experience
University graduate in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of Test Automation/ Quality Engineering experience in implementing object-oriented systems
In-depth experience of at least 2 or more of leading automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber /BDD, WebdriverIO, Cypress, SpecFlow, or Test NG
Proficient with JavaScript framework such as NodeJS, Angular JS and Java/TypeScript
Strong understanding of the HTML DOM, CSS selectors, and data manipulation techniques in JavaScript
API testing – hands-on expertise on RESTful design / best practices. In-depth experience of testing APIs and test tools like Postman or Newman
Advance programming/ scripting skills
Well versed with AWS Cloud technologies
Rich experience of working in an Agile software development organization
Experience in testing container-based systems will be a plus
Well versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (ADO/ Jenkins) and techniques
Tools: Postman, Visual Studio, VSCode, Node & npm, SourceTree/ Git, Git Bash, PowerBI, Microsoft SQL Server
Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team

The candidate must display a decent understanding of Financial services industry economics, various asset types, interest calculations, etc.
