Duties and Accountabilities:
Test software and content to make sure changes and enhancements meets business expectations without negatively affecting the existing workflows/reports
Work closely with Feature Area Teams (Product Owner, Test Architects, Developers) to understand features and technical implementation; ensure features and bug fixes come with Simulation test coverage
Review business and technical requirements; create test plan & test scenarios; execute test scenarios/ regression suits for existing and new features using modern technical testing solutions
Analyse, troubleshoot issues and breaks; exhibits excellent techno-functional troubleshooting ability; continuous improvement of test suits/ coverage
Execute tests and report defects to development and product-owner teams. Verify fixes from development
Produce regular reports on the status and quality of software releases and be prepared to speak to findings in an informative way to all levels of audience.
Remove roadblocks and escalate risks
Focuses on process improvement and finds efficiency or suggests new ways of operating
Help setup and manage multiple test environments on AWS cloud
Able to work in 12 PM – 9 PM IST work shift.
Education and Experience
University graduate or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in QA functions, testing and automation
Solid domain exposure of Syndicated Loan and BFSI
Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Test methodologies, Techniques, and Tools and Object-oriented design principals
Sound programming/ scripting skills in programming language like C# / Java with experience of testing and Specflow frameworks
Hands on Web, Client/Server, API and Hosted application testing
Well versed with AWS Cloud technologies and services like EC2 , S3 , RDS, Lambda etc.
Well versed with SQL & SQL Server Management Studio
Experience with Azure DevOps & working with Agile software development teams
Well versed with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools and methodology
Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team
