Selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing Test Automation initiatives across all Public Safety products.
Overall responsibility for the task management of all QA staff potentially including both onshore as well as offshore resources as appropriate.
Ownership of all phases of testing on projects ensuring all activities are adequately estimated, planned and monitored.
Design & Review overall Test Strategy (Manual/Functional Automation/ETL/Performance), Test plan, and Test Estimation.
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and project documents to develop the Selenium, ETL and JMeter scripts.
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation.
Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various platforms.
Build a common automation framework which can be used across projects.
Work with Dev team to capture & reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test artifacts and test environments used.
Update automation test execution status following agreed-upon processes as part of regularly-scheduled test status updates.
Provide test project status reports and metrics (e.g., Test Dashboard).
Provide technical guidance to the automation test team.
Review the framework, automation scripts, results, and progress produced by the automation team.
Hands on experience on ETL Testing specially on AWS Cloud
Hands on experience of Performance Testing (JMeter) any cloud application (preferably AWS)
