Responsibilities:
Understand the functionality being developed and create test specifications and use cases that will exercise the functionality at a component level and product level.
Design and create automated frameworks involving back-end engine test-cases, UI test-cases, etc. to test complex product functionality and report results to TIBCO’s centralized test results reporting system.
Work closely with the product developers to understand the product requirements and features.
To set up test lab environments on various OS platforms and perform test execution, regression testing.
To debug and trace issues and device possible solutions.
Bug tracking and verification for releases.
Ability to meet aggressive product delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of Quality Assurance experience especially into Automation QA.
Expertise in any Business Intelligence tools, ERP tools, etc., will be given preference.
Expertise in the Python programming language. Skills in any scripting language is plus.
Test automation experience of Web and Desktop applications, ideally using Python.
Ability to develop in-house test automation frameworks using java or Python programming languages from scratch.
Excellent knowledge of the JUnit, TestNG or any other framework.
Excellent debugging skills.
Should be self-motivated and ability to learn new things quickly.
Experience automating applications running on Docker.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
Ability to mentor peers.
Experience in Developing, Create, prioritize, and organize test cases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs – Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools.
Basic knowledge of at least one UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and Linux) platform.
Expertise in at-least one test automation tool like Selenium, QTP, SOAP UI etc.
Working knowledge of at-least one database technology like Oracle or MS SQL
Good to have experience with Selenium web drivers and any BI tool.
