As QA -COE Automation Architect, you will be working to provide solutions around automation by applying skills set & automation expertise and to works towards scalable automation framework which can be utilized
for multiple in-house Roche products in cost effective and minimum maintenance
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (required):
Complete ownership of planning, designing, developing, implementing and execution of test
automation across multiple product and environments
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies, including databases, web, web services, and reporting
Experience in setting up a test framework from scratch and improving existing frameworks to be
more efficient and effective
Collaborate with QA and Development teams to strategize & align long-term solution for test phases
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and understanding of sprint ceremonies
Defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint
Advanced knowledge on different design/architecture/integration/cloud/data patterns automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach, quality code, scalable and maintainable components
Web ,Mobile and Device automation with open source tools
Implement automated API testing using tools such as REST Assured or SOAP UI
Technically guide other test engineers and provide sound technical solutions, particularly efficient and effective test automation
Should be proficient in Automation planning i.e. creation of Automation Test Plans & Strategies, Test Cases, Automated Test Scenario Traceability Matrix
Recommends new automation and performance tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
Develop automation strategy to support functional ,regression and sanity testing based on the
technical analysis, complexity and reusability
Experience in architecting & building real-time automation frameworks, ideally in the healthcare domain
Participate in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews
Must have a thorough understanding of the SDLC, STLC and Automation cycle throughout all the

Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
15+ years related work experience in driving automation solutions in medium to large enterprise organizations.
5+ years of related experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, and / or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS (preferred), Google or Azure.
Software development experience in either Java, NodeJS or Python
Expertise in Docker and kubernetes and real time implementation
Development and automation experience in Micro services and spring boot
Hands on experience on test automation tools and framework –e.g. Selenium, JMeter, SOAP UI, REST , cucumber, Test complete, Cypress
Expertise in Mobile (Android & iOS) app and device automation using Appium
Experience working with source control and configuration management tools like Jenkins Bit bucket, GitHub and Gitlab
Build management tool :- Maven & gradel
Experience in Java script, shell script and VB script
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, quick learner, good troubleshooting capabilities and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding on RDBMS and Big Data concepts
