Job Description

Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end to end test cases for the assigned projects relating to the digital platform’s user acceptance testing.
Able to write test cases for agile projects.
Expert in using testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc to execute and maintain project status.
Knowledge of web and mobile application testing in banking domain, with good time management and keen eye for details to ensure quality and timely output.
Detect, report and track defects in the application tools and with various stakeholders to ensure proper closure of issues.
Collaborate with all stakeholders proactive to complete job assigned from clarification to issue closure.
Good with documentation as constant update to project changes will need to be updated timely.
Responsible for end to end execution of the overall test strategy developed collectively with the product owner from user story acceptance criteria, writing, execution of testing and defects management to live verification support.
Expected to be an expert in banking domain and able to write test plan and testing summary documents. To write and execute end to end test scenarios with detailed steps as per requirements either via manual or automation testing.
Actively participate and collaborate in project meetings and discussions, keen attention to details and time management to ensure quality and timely output of project assigned.
Execute the assigned manual or automation testing, log defects and follow up on defects to ensure timely closure.
Generate reports of testing, prepare training slides for touchpoints, and required update to delivery.

Required Experience:
8 to 12 years of experience working as test automation engineer.
Good understanding of applications test automation tools & suite.
Design automation flow and scripts conforming to team’s automation framework
Execute automated test cases for applications teams during SIT and regression test cycles.
Generate test summary report with statistics on the SIT and regression runs.
Work with application team to analyse and adapt failed test cases due to applications new changes.
Develop and conduct functional test scripts to validate system and business requirements (release notes)
Design, implement, and execute automated tests using HP Quick Test Professional/Unified Functional Test, Selenium, Manual
Document and maintain test procedures based on corresponding test plans and system documentation.
Document and maintain any issues discovered during testing and follow-up on status of issues and actions plans on test results
Responsible for facilitating all integration testing and regression tests when test scripts are used
Experience with programming language in VB is mandatory. Other technical skills like Java, Perl scripting, unix scripting, .Net and web development will be good.
Strong programming skill is mandatory.
Excellent communication and people skills.

Strong organizational skills to manage assignments effectively and working within tight deadlines
Strong communications skills to collaborate with developers, QA, project managers and other stakeholders
Familiarity with the agile development process and experience in continuous integration such as Jenkins CI or its equivalent and experience in Java OOP, multi-threading is a plus
Passion for learning and self-improvement is greatly preferred
Strong and an open analytical mind
Ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently with a group of people supporting both functional/technical areas.
Capable of handling a large group of users & delivering regional needs.
Strong stress tolerance while handling production issues or working on tight project schedule.
Degree in Computer Science/ IT or other related fields
