Hands on 5+ years of test automation development and 3+ year of domain relevant Software application QA test cases automation experience
Good knowledge and experience in, testing life cycle, test phases such as unit, integration, system, functional and non-functional testing, regression testing
Hands-on experience Test automation design and development skills.
Hands-on experience automating test cases for web applications developed in Java, .Net and Web using HTML, CSS
Hands on Test Automation scripts development using any industry leading object-oriented test automation development tool(s) such as Microfocus\QTP, Test Complete
RDBMS experience with exposure to writing SQL queries.
MS EXCEL Skills
Exposure to Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
Able to utilize tools like JIRA, Visio and MS Office tools for documentation and work tracking purposes
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate, contribute, and assists the enterprise in-house software development and third-party software application integration releases test automation activities
Practise and Implement quality process in test automation design for providing exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure application is compliance with software/system specifications business requirements and processes procedures.
Responsible for test Automation design, development and maintenance of comprehensive test Automated test suites and scheduling automated regression test suites as needed \ on demand basis.
Create, maintain, and modify automated test cases for new/existing software applications/releases that ensure comprehensive testing according to the software specifications.
Act as support person for applications under his/her responsibility for providing functional knowledge, carrying out proof of concept testing as needed.
Practice and implement new and improved testing best practices & tools that would benefit team and organization
Willing to undertake additional responsibilities and tasks assigned as per project and organization needs.
