Test Specialist will perform the role of a technical lead in the project.
Key objectives will focus on quality, effort variance and schedule adherence.
Reviewing the deliverable of test engineers will be one key responsibility that therol e will have.
The role requires working under limited supervision to reliability, usability and performance of the system.
Along with these responsibilities, a test specialist will need to document functional tests, perform complex testing assignments and investigate operational problems with other technical team members.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Tracking the progress of the activities every day.
• Drive requirement clarifications with the team and customer
• Design, author and review test cases and test data preparation
• Test execution:
Identify the test cases be executed for the cycle.
Identify regression suite and test cases for automation.
Test execution and reporting
• Drive induction and mentoring of new team members and update training plans on a quarterly basis.
• Come up with test estimatesfor the project.
• Review the test deliverable- test scenarios, test cases, traceability and automation scripts.
Expert in Python programming.
At least 3-4 years of python programming experience.
Good Knowledge and hands on experience on OOPs, python data structures, design patterns.
Good understanding of Jenkins (CI CD), groovy script.
Knowledge and experience of robot test framework.
Knowle dge of wireless devices like Bluetooth, USB.
Experience in embedded test automation will be preferred.
