Candidate should have good logical and analytical skills along with problem-solving ability.
Should have good domain knowledge in Insurance/Banking sectors.
Important – Very strong communication skills.
This is for US client and is a client facing role. Should be available to work in US time zones.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation of the test plan/strategy from establishing project requirements and goals to solution go-live
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data and IoT testing
Act as a career coach or/and advisor for future leadership subordinates
Have good understanding of using industry best practices and guidelines and should be hands-on in preparing test automation scripts
Mentor automation engineers within the team
Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well- balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels
Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
Good practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, etc.)
Primary Skills
Experience in testing different different platforms Web, Mobile, Desktop applications.
Sound knowledge in STLC phases.
DB testing knowledge.
