Key Responsibilities:
Build testing frameworks and methodologies that will define the testing processes used as part of the software development process
Write and maintain test plans, automation scripts.
Create and maintain automated test suites for various software products
Automate API and UI tests
Ability to work well within an Agile development environment
Raise quality issues in a timely manner for the product development cycle
Continually develop and execute an improving suite of test cases for each product
Key requirements:
Proven experience in creating Automation Test Strategy and plan for a Microservice based cloud native application
2+ years’ experience writing functional test automation scripts for Web applications and Web services (REST based) using Selenium is a must
2+ years’ experience working with Java, Git, Maven, Gherkin, Selenium, REST-assured and Postman
Good knowledge on regression and functional testing
Good knowledge/Experience in Database (SQL)
Experience with API mocking tools, such as WireMock is an added advantage
Experience working with Linux, bash scripting and Eclipse is a plus
Expertise in understanding manual test cases and converting into Automation Scripts
Proven ability in handling/grooming minimum two team members
