Work closely with factory team, development team and technical product managers to gather requirements for new features and change requests
Execute and maintain the test scripts developed on LabVIEW with Test stand tool.
Efficiently develop software in the LabVIEW programming environment.
Effectively troubleshoot the systems associated with the LabVIEW program, including not only the software but other aspects such as the host PC, sensors, controllers, etc
Support the (internal) team in delivering quality features, debugging issues, and providing incident responses.
Define, Document, and Evolve best practices.
Test prototypes and/or production systems. Analyze test results and report to the stakeholders
Set and strive toward reaching professional development goals
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent discipline with 6+ years of relevant work experience as an embedded test engineer with LabVIEW expertise
At least 4+ years of experience programming in LabVIEW.
Minimum certification of National Instruments CLAD, Certified LabVIEW Developer or higher credential preferred.
Understanding of good programming practices and higher-level concepts such as classes
Familiar with Communication protocols like RS232/485, Ethernet, ZigBee, BT, and Wi-Fi
Strong knowledge of embedded controllers and their architectures.
Good knowledge of various types of testing like functional, regression, integration, and performance etc.,
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
