Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of industry experience as an ETL tester.
Create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components
Expert in DWH testing with excellent SQL skills
Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture
Good understanding of QA methodologies, software testing life cycle and processes.
data model, ETL architecture, Data warehouse concepts.
Experience on Agile/Scrum based delivery
Rich experience in failure debugging and writing clean & efficient script with strong SQL skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience in any of the ETL Tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend
Hands-on experience in at least one or few databases like Postgres or MySQL or SQL Server or Oracle or AWS Redshift.
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products
Keeps abreast of current technology trends
Has ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and minimal supervision
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Preferred -
Experience in Automation development in an agile environment
Working knowledge of test management tools like Microfocus ALM / Bugzilla / Visual Studio Test Manager /Maven /JIRA /qTest / TestLink/ TestRail/ Zephyr
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.
