Exposure to all aspects of SDLC/STLC
Knowledge to test documentation procedures
Implement Data Quality checks across entire Analytics Pipelines: Source database -> warehouse -> Reports
Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts
Create data sets, scheduled extracts, and integrations within the data warehouse
Create, Execute and Debug SQL queries to perform data completeness & correctness
Create to a projects overall test strategy, test plan, Test Case Design, Test Execution in Quality Centre tool
Review Test Cases and procedures to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements
Ability to understand Business Requirement documents/ ETL Specifications and able to produce test cases and test scripts.
Set up & configure test environment Vcloud or Oracle box
Experience testing data for data warehouses or ETL tools
Should be very strong in SQL and SQL Testing
Experience in Defect Management & configuration management tools like doors, clear case, Clear Quest
Experience in ETL methodology for supporting data extraction, transformations, and loading
Exposure to Data testing and Automating the ETL & BI data validation
Perform automated backend testing using SQL queries / Java to retrieve and verify the requirements in Database.
Knowledge to do performance testing on data warehouses
Experience in automating test cases, building automated test suites.
You would implement 75% automation of test cases.
Data warehousing concepts, Selenium automation or any other automation tool.
Support and realize the ongoing roadmap of Business Intelligence for Varian
Implement data quality and governance processes
Experience in productionize of high-quality database solutions
Programming experience good to have.
Any DevOps experience/skills would be a plus

Candidates applying for this position need to have basic knowledge of SQL & Data warehouse
Person with the great experience in Manual and automation testing skills and passion for software engineering.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent stream.
Experience
1-3 years of IT work experience
Minimum 1 year hands on experience in testing of analytics projects(visualization and Data warehousing).
Basic understating of TSQL and SQL internals for writing performant and optimized SQL queries to test the data sets.
Experience in healthcare domain would be a plus
Should able to adapt and support on prem and cloud technologies.
Experience working with agile programming practices like SCRUM
