Responsibilities:
Understand business requirements & functionality and collaborate with Product Owner and Engineering Team
Preparation of functional & test documentations like function specifications documents, user stories and then convert it into test plan, test cases etc.
Prepare detailed test cases, test data and conduct manual testing that will also involve Database (Oracle) Validations (SQL Queries)
Develop Test Scripts for multiple Functional & Non-Functional Test Scenarios & help in scheduling them for automatic execution & results collections.
Aware about Integration of Automated Test Suites with existing Build & Release Cycle & Test Results Notifications over email / mobile / other channels.
Collaborate with developers to clarify business functionality and ensure alignment with functional requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, articulate clearly to technical and business teams
Exposure as Manual Functional Tester in web application testing involved in overall Software Test Cycle
Exposure in Enterprise Level project with complex functionality. domain skills in supply chain or similar domain is desirable
Worked on data oriented applications that require data preparation to test complex business validations
Good experience in writing SQL Queries to design test cases and perform data validation on Oracle DB
Exposure in testing automation and related tools like Selenium, JMeter etc.
Should be willing to explore other automation tool like WebDriver.io, Jest & Mocha towards test automation.
Should have keen interest in automating the manual testing process at various stages like Smoke, Sanity, Load & Performance Testing.
Should be capable to Create, Publish & Present the Multiple Types of Testing Reports.
Earlier exposure as business analyst in SCM domain with inclination to details and testing is desirable
