Responsibilities:
Embedded software testing for Industrial automation/automotive products.
Responsible for designing and/or enhancing test automation frameworks and automation scripts for different product variants
Responsible for performing all levels of SW testing of SW before every interim & final releases.
Single point of contact for all the testing activities of an identified embedded product (unit, component, integration, functional & system testing)
Required Skill set:
Very good experience in programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Python
Hands on experience in developing automated test scripts using tools like TesSy or similar.
Hands on experience in developing scripts required for build and test automation using python, batch scripts etc.
Knowledge of communication protocols – USB, J1939, UDS, CAN, TCP/IP.
Experienced in System testing at Product level, preferably on Servo Drives and Motors
Experienced in manual testing (functional and non-functional).
Ability to operate within short release cycles.
Hands on experience in using lab equipment’s like power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generator, debuggers to simulate different test conditions.
Added advantage for exposure to customer scenario testing experience.
Added advantage for exposure to design tools (like Enterprise Architect), configuration management tools (like GIT, Clearcase, SVN), CI/CD tool (like Jenkins)
Proactive, Good communications and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with SW development process (Agile/Scrum) is desirable.
Open to learn new tools and technologies on the job.
Be capable of conveying ideas and thoughts in technical discussions
Qualifications
B. E/ B. Tech E&C, E&E, EEE with 3 - 6 Years of experience in System testing and Integration testing of firmware/Software
