Test Automation: Experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter
Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python Ruby, to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of at least one testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest to create test cases, execute tests, and generate test reports.
Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CICD to set up and manage automated test pipelines.
API Testing: Experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, PyTest ,Rest Assured
Test Management: Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr to manage test cases, defects, and test execution.
Performance Testing: Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum, and experience in Agile testing practices like User Story Mapping Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
Test Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products to ensure quality and functionality.
Test Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing, to ensure that software products meet quality standards and specifications.
Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, regarding testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills required
UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
At least 1+ years’ experience
Solid understanding and prior use of automated testing practices and software is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.
