Responsibilities:
Develop and manage Test Automation frameworks and select tools that would assist in testing on various areas of the product.
Work seamlessly with highly skilled, deeply technical development scrum team to develop valid test approaches and scenarios.
Document all QA artifacts (i.e. defects, test cases, etc) in ALM, Jira and maintain traceability between test cases and requirement documentation.
Proactively communicate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test creation or test execution.
Partner with development teams to build an understanding of QA and its role in the project lifecycle.
Provide input for go/no-go decisions.
Be an advocate for continued development of automation within your teams’ functional area.
Be part of technical team working on overall product strategy.
Required experience and qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
7+ years of people management experience, recognition as an exceptional leader and business partner.
7+ years of experience with Cloud Based applications, preferably more recently based on Big Data, Java , MySql, Apache (Tomcat), Linux and Amazon Web Services.
Experience in Big Data Testing, Spark, AWS.
Experience in Test Plan and Test Case Creations, Bug Creations.
Experience in Unit Testing and API Testing like JMeter, Code Reviews, UI Automation like Selenium.
SAP SD/MM/ FI knowledge a plus
