You will be primarily responsible for quality assurance for Finance function applications. You will lead a team of 8-12 quality analysts assigned across eight or more agile teams. Aligned to a Quality Assurance center of expertise (QA CoE), you will implement QA best practices, accelerate adoption of standard testing tools, and drive further use of automated testing across the teams. You will spend 50% of your time embedded in an agile team performing QA activities for relevant stories.
This role will oversee quality assurance activities as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:
Developing a team of high performing quality engineers
Evolving test plans and strategies that focus on both functional and non-functional testing
Scale up test automation coverage using a risk-based approach blend of unit, integration, and UI tests.
Building and maintaining automated test scripts (component and end-to-end), integrating those with version control & CI/CD pipelines for automated execution and reporting
Validating the successful implementation of configured business logic in various Finance applications
Validating the accuracy and completeness of data moving from the transactional systems to the BCG data layer
Validating the successful and dependable implementation of integrations to and from dependent applications
Establishing quality assurance best practices, objectives and key results across the team

Coordinating the tracking of reported software defects and working with implementation teams to resolve critical bugs
Collaborating with implementation teams and stakeholders to identify testing requirements that help define the development of software test plans, test strategies, and test scripts to ensure a quality product
Operating with a transparency mindset, communicating clearly and openly both above and below
Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques and cost-benefit automation strategies
Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of competence and independence.
Working with multicultural distributed teams located in different time zones
Ability to lead, coach, and mentor small QA teams in a global working environment.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Major in Business, Finance, Technology or related field encouraged.
8-10 years of experience in systems delivery with a quality assurance focus
Experience with multi-national ERP platforms, SAP S/4 Hana preferred
Hands-on experience in writing test scenarios, test cases, test execution and defect reporting and managing them on Zephyr or other Test Management Systems
Experience of various types of testing – functional testing, system testing, integration testing, API Testing and regression testing on cloud-based systems
Experience using test automation suites such as SmartBear – TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, Postman, SOAP etc., plus experience writing automated end-to-end tests
Experience in SQL, Java, C+, Python is preferred
Established knowledge of corporate finance/accounting domain
Experience in managing a globally distributed team
Expertise with Software Development Life Cycle and Testing Life Cycle
