Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Automation Test Engineer to spearhead our testing efforts and drive quality assurance excellence.
This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Test Engineers to achieve project goals
Create acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate them with Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Bamboo)
Contribute to test planning and estimations to ensure alignment with project objectives
Conduct web application testing, including JS, HTML, and CSS
Ensure effective collaboration and delivery in an Agile team environment
Lead multiple testing streams concurrently, meeting deadlines and quality standards
Identify and address gaps in testing strategies and approaches
Support and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance

Requirements
10+ years of experience in Core Java and Selenium development
Expertise in automation frameworks like Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, or Soap UI
Proficiency in testing APIs (e.g., REST, JSON, XML) and using Eclipse IDE
Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and test planning processes
Competency in Functional, Usability, Compatibility, Accessibility, Regression, and Requirements/Documentation testing methods
Familiarity with tools like SQL, XML, JSON, Fiddler, Postman, and HP ALM
Background in JBehave or BDD (Cucumber) frameworks
Experience in web testing environments involving JS, HTML, and CSS
Effective English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have
Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
Experience with API Testing and understanding of client-server architecture
