Lead the testing activities, plan and estimate the release strategies
Technically guide and support the team members
Taking ownership for the product testing/mitigate the risks
Coordinate with team, understand problems /solving their technical issues
Design automation framework for the project, bring new ideas for test automation, providing suggestions for the improvements
Review the testcases and Test plan, giving feedback to the product enhancements
Understanding of Application / Product requirements.
Design test cases at component level as per requirements.
Analysis of problems, gathers information to assist in problem debug and resolution
Define & setup Test Environment for system testing
Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards
Extensive knowledge of automation testing and tools
Experience on CI / CD pipelines tools (Jenkins)
Ability to collaborate and work with Stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, Product management.
Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile programming methodologies
Adherence to project processes
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
10 to 13 Years of experience in Applications testing / Client / Server Applications testing
Experience in Windows, Linux and VMware environments
Lead the testing activities, helping the team to solve the technical challenges
Knowledge of various Software Development /Testing Life cycles, defining Test Plan / Strategy
Experience in Test plan creation, execution and Defect Management.
Experience in test scripts creation using WinApp driver/Python/Selenium/other scripting knowledge
Innovation, creative thinking and mentoring
Strong automation knowledge, experience in framework development
Automation testing /script knowledge is mandatory
Good to have work experience in Azure / AWS cloud platform
Good to have database knowledge (SQL / Oracle)
Nice to have experience in mainframe
Experience in test reporting and metrics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Very good analytical and requirements understanding skills
CSTE, ISTQB, CSTM – Good to have test certifications
