About the Role:
The Quality Assurance Lead / Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and executing quality assurance and control processes, test strategies, test plans and test cases that verify software conformance to defined acceptance criteria and feature design documents, as well as application standards.
Testing will be both manual and automated. In addition to functional, integration, Regression and Performance testing, the Testing Specialist is responsible for quality assurance of non-functional areas such as performance, security and installation/upgrade.
The QA should be familiar with Software Quality Assurance methodologies and be able to clearly communicate concepts to other team members.
The QA will be expected to spend a portion of their time working with internal and external development teams as well as various business departments.
Your Key Responsibilities
Document and implement test strategies, plans, processes and standards.
Execute testing plans/strategy, create test cases, and user acceptance criteria.
Assist with test execution during test life cycle.
Maintain the defect management life cycle, using a defect tracking tool.
Work with the developer team to ensure all defects are cleared out.
Document defects, reasons, find trends and minimize the defects from happening again.
Provide training.
Maintain system documentation and user guides.
What To Bring
Hands on experience in test Automation framework creation from scratch using Protractor & Selenium.
Should be good at analysing the business requirements and coming up with automation scenarios and test cases for the same.
Working knowledge of API and Web services testing (REST, SOAP UI, Postman etc or similar tools).
Working knowledge on SQL databases and ETL testing. Should be able to write queries to validate the source and target comparisons and automate the same.
Working experience in analytics projects, with proficiency in popular analytics tools/Platforms leveraging AI/ML/NLP techniques to deliver analytics projects.
Well versed with software quality best practices, Test strategy, Test planning, and automated Test case development.
Experience with all aspects of Devops (Source control, Continuous integration, deployments etc) is an added advantage.
Can do attitude on solving complex business problems with good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Good experience in Security & Penetration is must.
Performance testing experience using LoadRunner (performing Load, Stress, failover and endurance testing) and performance engineering experience using any of the monitoring tools like Dynatrace or App dynamics.
Identifying performance issues using performance diagnostics tool, analysing the results and sharing observations to the stakeholders/project teams.
