The Lead QA Analyst collaborates with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Software Engineers in Test, Project Management, PODS, and peers in planning and executing tests verify software under test while ensuring compliance with the SDLC process. The Integration Lead QA Analyst shepherds the testing process and complements the functional tests covered by functional teams by focusing on business functionality and integration of the application within the ecosystem from inception through implementation.
Principal Accountabilities:
Communicate with stakeholders spanning both internal and external teams
Ensure that the team is complying with the SDLC process and high quality standards including identifying ways to improve
Execute responsibilities in addition to providing oversight and planning activities. Acts as SME and technical expect to team
Identify efficiency opportunities while also exploring innovation and means of implementing new technology/processes including new tools and test frameworks
Mentor and groom team members by demonstrating/modeling how a mentee might develop greater initiative, increased independence, and self-reliance
Provide domain-level expertise both on the application under test and testing practices
Continue to innovate testing frameworks including participate in development
Work with teams across globe and work as extension or independent initiatives.
Collaborate with Integration peers - QA managers/Leads within team.
Ability to lead/manage junior level resources and guide their work and help them grow. This includes doing performance reviews per CME standards.
Closely work with Manager to align team goals and achieving them timely.
Provide domain-level expertise both on the application under test and testing practices
Qualifications:
Expertise in SQL/DB, Linux/UNIX
Experience in messaging protocol
Hands on Java/Python Programming to perform Software Engineer in Test role and experience in building test frameworks like Cucumber.
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required.
Experience: Typically, 10-12 years of progressively more demanding work experience that relates to the Lead position. Candidate must demonstrate a successful testing career progression. Financial industry experience is a plus.
