Work closely with QA Manager, IT Shared Services, Cross functional teams, Business Unit Project teams and Change Advisory Board members to ensure and deliver Patch/Project releases to production environment with quality
Manage and Execute Regression Testing for each Monthly Release Cycle and Project Implementation Wave
Track defects during testing and communicate the outcome / Issues to Business Units and to respective Application Delivery Teams
Manage and Execute Performance/Load Testing periodically to ensure efficient code base in production and to plan around Instance capacity requirements
Reviews test approach and plans to ensure the appropriate level of testing for each project
Engage with Business Unit Oracle Teams to Build Automated Regression Test Scripts
Oversee, write, and execute automated and manual test cases using HP Quality Assurance Tool Kit
Establish testing standards for the Business Group – Including test methodology and documentation standards associated with functional and performance testing at the project level.
Delegates assignments and monitors progress of test script development, planning and execution
Engage with Enterprise IT & follow up on necessary Audit action items and recommendations with Business Units
Drive the QA resources with his/her technical direction approach
Able to understand the depth of Automation tools to provide seamless approach to the team in various applications like ERP, Web, WCS & 3rd party components
Education / Job Related Technical/Soft Skills:
9-10 years of experience & having good understanding of Project Timelines and Oracle Application Suite
Must have willingness to work in a fast-paced testing environment and accepting challenging tasks
Must have good analytical skills and potential to learn Experience with automated testing tools like HP Quality Center and UFT & PC 12 tools
Hands-On experience in Software QA/Testing
Must have direct experience working within a large production environment (i.e. ERP)
Must have direct QA experience supporting an Oracle Application Suite
Working knowledge of SDLC, Software QA and QA Standards
Understanding of manual and automated Test methods
Strong Knowledge of the QA process for full project life cycle and Production Maintenance Release Cycle
Knowledge of MS Project Skills
Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude and troubleshooting techniques
Must have Exceptional customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills
Experience with industry standard project management, software development and support processes and best practices desired. Project planning and management skills, including ability to identify and assess risk to determine action
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
Experience in effectively communicating with a broad base of end users and multiple management layers
Good judgment and analytical skills; strong follow-up and organization skills
Good resource management as well as relation management skills
Performance tools like Splunk & OEM experience would be helpful
Experience with Automation tools like RPA & Selenium would be helpful
Able to set a technical direction for the entire team
Able to drive the team with technical as well as with functional expertise
