Responsibilities:
Work closely with Architects, Tech Leads, and Software Engineers to understand the testing requirements.
Understand how a feature is implemented in order to develop test cases for the functionality, performance and fault conditions.
Install, configure and troubleshoot the integrated solution under test.
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for features under test.
Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in timely manner.
Automate your test cases with an established automated framework.
Develop reusable tools for test automation and identify new methods for automation.
Seek for continuous improvement in existing automation establishments.
Along with automation, create expertise in assigned platform component, product or feature area.
Demonstrate experience with exploratory testing, not just working to test plans.
Ability to work independently for own tasks and collaboratively with rest of the team to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate
Must have QA experience from 5 to 10 yrs on Enterprise product.
Should have experience into Containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
Should have experience into CI/CD tools like Jenkis, docker, GitHub, Ansible/Terraform etc.
Should have experience of working with microservices applications.
Should have experience into any public Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Should have exposure to Linux flavor OS.
Good to have experience/familiarity on Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, Cassandra.
