Roles & Responsibilities:
You will design a QA roadmap by leveraging QA function for your team that usually spans one agile team.
You will ensure a QA plan is designed, executed for all the critical feature launches with move towards automation eventually for older components and automation first for newer independent features.
You provide a testable design for scalable SaaS data analytics products, web services, APIs, and backend data pipelines.
Understand requirements and guide the team to develop reusable testing code, tools, and framework using design patterns & component architecture and ensure sufficient write unit test cases.
You demonstrate the ability to define different aspects of testing like performance, security, etc. and create an executable plan and define the system and tech stack to execute on it.
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to elicit & understand their requirements & challenges and develop suitable testing strategies and align with the timelines.
Stay current with the latest tools, technology ideas, and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key decision makers.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of testing experience, preferably in a product organization
Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL & BI Report Testing
Advanced SQL skills - Ability to write and interpret complex SQL situational queries
Comfortable in Python programming language
Extensive experience in ETL, Data warehouse and data pipeline backend testing
Adept in API testing
Prior indulgence in ML Ops systems comprising design and deployment of a model and concrete exposure to DevOps
Exposure to testing ML/AI based software and data output
Hands-on experience in identifying issues in the complex ETL data processing
Expertise in test management tools and defect tracking tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA
Proficient experience of working on SDLC & Agile Methodology
Excellent Knowledge of Database Systems - Vertica/Oracle/Teradata
Knowledge in data security testing will be an added advantage
Experience in Business Intelligence testing in various reports Using Tableau or similar BI tools
Strong comprehension, analytical, and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills to put forward their point of view in various connects
Working knowledge of AWS
Knowledge of testing data science project and automation testing will be an added advantage
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree desired but not mandatory.
Masters of Science (MS) degree in relevant area of study is preferred.
Experience working in a regulated environment of the healthcare, diagnostics, and/or pharmaceutical industry with Information Security and Computer System Validation (CSV).
Experience in testing business intelligence/analytics applications or software for multi-tenant enterprise SaaS applications is a big plus.
Experience with UI/UX testing, and testing products for accessibility.
