Technical Experience:
10-12 years of experience
C#/.NET, .NET Core
Must have Selenium for Web based UI automation
Must have API testing using C# or Postman
Must have DML queries and DB concepts
Experience in Agile Methodologies/Scrum
Experience on product testing in Agile environment; should know the various stages of product release & QA support needed for deployment validation and testing in production.
Understands and follow test life cycle, bug life cycle, release life cycle.
Understands and follow test case template, bug templates etc.
Experience with testing desktop, web-based, plugin-based, clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.
Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems like ADO, JIRA etc.
Experience in diagnosing issues and share with stakeholders what isn’t working correctly and why.
Experience in design, creation, and execution of high-quality reusable manual test cases and scripts.
Experience in automation development and execution of automated system functional scripts. Knowledge of C# is desired.
Ideal candidates already have at least 8+ years of experience in the software industry as a QA Analyst and has familiarity with testing multi-tier solutions.
Understanding of and experience with an agile SDLC and STLC
Must be able to define test strategy, test plan for different requirements
Must be aware of and have hands on experience with Data Driven testing, functional vs non-functional testing, API testing, UI automation testing of web as well as desktop applications, Whitebox testing etc.
Clear hands-on experience with security testing using APIs or Burp Suite.
Must have handled releases to complete regression, sign offs, UAT, automation sign offs, production sign offs etc.
Must have handled team of at least QA members.
Experience in managing and maintaining environment for the product- repository and versioning, build management and deployments.
Experience in localization and globalization, security, performance, integration with third party components and applications.
Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze requirements (stories) along with the dev team & identify test scenarios
Write tests based on scenarios identified
Use of test management & other components of tools like Azure Devops, Jira, Rally as applicable
Experience in test design and test data design.
Defining test strategy and test plan at feature level.
Identify/create test data
Execute the tests in multiple environments as per the plan
Exploratory, ad-hoc and negative testing
API testing (manual as applicable)
Capture test preparation and execution data as needed.
Develop and execute automation scripts, triage failures and report product and test issues.
