Responsibilities:
Leads a Performance test assignments to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Understand the architecture, requirements, related customer scenarios and design Performance, Scale test strategy and test plan for the product.
Participate in the technical and management reviews and ensure expectations w.r.t quality assurance are addressed at the expected level.
Provide feedback on the risks and mitigation's so that the predictability and quality are achieved as per the expectation.
Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems test design, project progress, and issue resolution.
Mentor and influence the team to comply with the quality standards and expectations demonstrating effective gate keeping for all the deliverables.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge & practical experience in Performance, Scale testing and tuning methodologies on SaaS and Containerized deployments
Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes with a focus on performance testing and automation of deployments.
Strong Knowledge/practical experience of Networking Concepts/Security domain
Experience in end to end performance testing of system software applications on Windows and Linux platforms
Hands on Programming expertise in any programming language and ability to automate deployments on SaaS using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Automation: Exposure to any scripting languages - Python, Perl, Shell
Familiar with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
