The Role:
Lead Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for working with SW QA and SW development teams to develop a platform for test automation.
Your Contribution:
- Develop solutions in solving complex automation needs for testing, release engineering.
- Architect the next evolution of our testing frameworks and libraries.
- Advocate best programming design and testing practices.
- Help improve software developer and testing productivity by implementing intuitive supporting tools, modules-based techniques.
- Actively engage with developer and QA teams to ensure we are delivering tools that make their lives easier.
- Automate the iOS and Android mobile application.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years in software development.
- Extensive experience in programming with one or more of the following languages – Python, C/C++, Java.
- Strong software engineering foundations, and experience in writing software, supporting tools, services.
- Strong object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms coding skills.
- Experience in any of the automation tools like Appium, Xamarin, Salesforce, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate and implement testing tools as per the organization's needs.
- Experience in building and running test environments.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor the QA team.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software QA.
- Experience in automation testing.
