Testing end-to-end data Applications, APIs and Kafka Topics (data ingestion, transformation, and data modeling) .., both batch, real-time streaming and distributed processing back-ends to test the data.
Test on entire system architecture and ingesting/pipelining of data, tools to automate, orchestrate in delivering performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and Data Analysts team for collection or analysis of raw data and test data for models that empower end-users.
Deep test on Pipelines and Kafka streams.
Write efficient test cases and test case execution plans.
Demonstrate technical & business analyst skills to build comprehensive requirement docs and project plans as well as validate execution
Good Experience in Functional and Integration testing.
This role requires
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or IT.
10 Years of demonstrated ability into automation testing tools
8 years into Functional, Integration Testing and test cases executions plans.
Minimum 8 years in logs to document testing phases and defects
6+ years of implementing on all levels of testing.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing and work with Cross-Functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Review and analyze system specifications.
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Experience in project management and QA methodology.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Solid understanding of test management software (e.g. Quality Testing, Zephyr) and SQL.
Implementing test scripts and reviewing results
Reporting and detailing technical issues.
Report bugs and errors to development teams.
Maintain database of software defects.
Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
Verify specific actions or functions of code.
Experience with Snowflake
Bonus points if you have
Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
