As a Lead QA Engineer, you’ll be embedded on one of our payroll Noida teams consisting of around 8 other people.
You will be engaged in feature development focused on US Payroll system, reproducing, and testing customer-found defects, along with writing
.NET and SQL based test automation for the system using Selenium and Test Complete. You will also get to work directly with other Quality Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts.
our support teams in a highly collaborative environment. As part of the role, you will be expected to work on many aspects of application testing and automation to produce high quality software.
Job Responsibilities
Writing .NET and SQL based automated test cases for all the features and defects team is delivering
Collaborate with the team to understand functional requirements, Changes, and the impact of changes.
Develop a good functional knowledge for your domain
Collaborate with the team on technology concepts and ensure team compliance with best practices for wring the Echo test cases.
Interprets requirement descriptions and create test plans for the team’s purpose.
Participate in Automation test case reviews to ensure quality.
Participate in the review of the feature and the defect fixes to the larger audience including all required stake holders.
The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail and strong verbal and written English communication skill
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Qualifications
Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience with the SDLC
5-8-year experience with writing automated tests using C# or automated testing tool (Selenium, Test Complete)
5-8-year experience executing test plans and reports
5-8-year experience interpreting Business Requirements and designing and executing tests directly related to those requirements
5-8-year experience executing software development testing methodologies (Whitebox /Blackbox testing)
5-8-year experience with the development and execution of acceptance criteria
5-8-year experience documenting test efforts and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience
5+ year experience with agile/lean development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
Self-motivated and driven
Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Proven ability to communicate technical problems in practical terms.
Ability to code complex SQL statements and/or basic understanding of NoSQL databases
