Graduates with B.E./B.Tech/MCA in computer science/engineering/IT or equivalent stream
Experience in working with product based organizations is must and should have stable career graph
Sound concepts of manual and automation testing
Strong analytical, technical skills, OOPS concepts
Knowledge of agile methodology
Exposure to different databases like MySQL, Mongo and should have ability to write optimized queries as part of database validation
Should be able to write functional, regression and automation test cases.
Should be able to develop and maintain automation scripts.
Exposure in testing backend systems, files/model processing, big data testing, data analysis
Hands-on with test automation using Selenium.
Sound in any one of the supported languages supported by Selenium like Java/Python/Ruby/C#/JS
Exposure to Pytest or TestNG Maven/any build tool, Jenkins/Any Continuous Integration(CI) tool, Page object Model/Page Factory, Cucumber/ BDD tool. Framework designing experience is a plus.
Sound in dealing with code repositories like Git/SVN
Good English communication skills (both written and verbal) and should have good influencing skills
Able to provide automation and performance testing solutions
Mentor other staff on test automation and performance testing
Preferred:
Exposure on Selenium/Pytest/Python
Build complex db queries on MySQL and Mongo
Domain knowledge on Capital Markets, Investment banking, brokerage systems, financial terms is preferred.
Performance Testing using JMeter
ETL testing
Knowledge of containers and different cloud based components on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud etc.
Shell scripting
Exposure to leading automation tools in market like UFT/QTP/Cypress/Katalon
Job Responsibilities:
Be a lead who can add technical value to the existing team and system
The role will be an individual contributor role to lead test automation and performance testing initiatives across Visible Alpha products. Flexible to work in one area if focus is required from a business perspective.
Expected hands-on contribution in Python/Pytest script development and to speed up automation in different areas Maintain framework developed by leadership and provide optimal solutions to the team
Do code reviews and merges for check ins done by other automation contributors
Handle code conflicts well.
Build robust automation pipeline to execute in CI-CD model
As per need help to speed up functional testing in particular area
As a senior member in team get in depth knowledge of Visible Alpha products gradually and mentor junior or new staff members
Be an agile tester who can switch swiftly between manual and automation testing.
Collaborate with agile-scrum teams to deliver sprint items on time as per agile cycle.
Develop comprehensive manual test cases for sanity, regression and agile testing.
Understand and develop automation test cases in Selenium-Pytest/Python.
Develop and maintain test artifacts.
Be a good team player.
Self motivated, handle job responsibilities independently and be responsible for quality and timelines
Rather than testing systems in traditional ways bring newer advanced approaches and techniques
Help test leads and managers to develop comprehensive QA function for Visible Alpha software solutions.
