Engineering graduates/MCAs, with experience in Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project
Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
Deploying and managing resources for testing
Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement
Report to Upper Management
Manage Risks
Preferred to have good domain knowledge in Insurance/Banking sectors
Responsibilities
Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of project.
Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing.
Manage any junior members of testing team
Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
Identify, Prepare and Review test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
Test execution.
Reporting of defects.
Preparation of test reports.
Skills
Experience in testing different diffeerent platforms Web, Mobile, Desktop applications.
Sound knowledge in STLC phases
DB testing knowledge
Team Management
Communication Skills
Documentation skills
Accountability and ownership quality
Mentor junior team members
API testing knowledge
Automation knowledge is added advantage
