Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on ERP or CRM applications to ensure the highest level of software quality.
Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
Execute test cases and identify, report, and track defects to ensure resolution.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Ensure testing activities comply with established processes and procedures.
Provide regular status updates and detailed reports on test progress, defects, and other quality metrics.
Required Skills and Experience:
4-6 years of experience in manual testing, preferably within the ERP or CRM domain.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
