Setup and maintain testing environments
Responsible for communicating regular status updates to management and supporting all relevant stakeholders across business, technology, compliance and operations.
Contributing to and promoting best practices in our QA cycles across BTCS including but not limited to enabling and supporting automation of entire SDLC including CI/CD.
Creating and maintaining technical documents / manuals related to assigned work to maintain supportability.
Work with Development and Product team on Root Cause Analysis of the escaped defects
Mandatory
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized college/university in STEM - Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering etc.
From graduate level to around 5 years of software engineering experience
Ability to work both independently and as part of a global team
Good communication skills with an effective level of English proficiency
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail
Culture of ownership and accountability focused on achieving outcomes and creating impact.
Experience in software testing life cycle including analyzing specifications and developing effective strategies and executing the test plans
Beneficial
Knowledge in financial markets and/or financial technologies (e.g., FIX protocol, Familiarity with assettypes like Equities, Derivatives, FX, Bonds, Commodities etc.)
Hands on experience on any of these native exchanges like Nasdaq, Eurex, Euronext, LSE, CME or exchange protocols like ITCH/OUCH, Millennium, SOLA/SAIL, Optiq, Genium
Experience in version control technologies
Experience working on LINUX/UNIX systems
Familiarity with languages like Python, Java
Experience working with Atlassian JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence
Knowledge/experience in AGILE concepts
Financial market certifications in Derivatives, Capital markets etc
Hands on experience in working with Automation tools like Selenium
ISTQB QA certifications
