Key responsibilities:
In this role you will own the KEY responsibility of Test Automation
You will be the go-to person in regards with test automation and solve challenging automation glitches and provides resolution to the queries of team and projects
You will be adding value and enhancing the automation architecture and strategy to bring effectivity and technological advancements
You will be maintaining and keeping the test suite well stabilized/robust for batch executions for any test requirements
You will be having goal to improve test automation productivity and effectivity to achieve reduction in the test schedule and improving the product quality
You will be effectively defining, automating, executing, and debugging test cases to its completeness
You will be responsible for defining the test automation framework and performing POC of automation tools as and when required
You will be adding value to test automation processes
Desired experience & Qualifications
8 plus years of experience in automation testing using C#, C++ /.NET OR Java/Python/ VB
Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
Professional Experience of 8 plus years using Desktop based automation testing
Should have strong programming skills using C#, C++ /.NET OR Java/Python/ VB
Should have expertise level of experience in industry leading automation tools, MS UI, UFT, etc.
Should have good experience in using CI/CD DevOps process and tools like Azure DevOps Or Jenkins, Bamboo
Experience in API testing will be an added advantage
Excellent automation problem solving skills
Should have good experience in designing and development of automation test framework
Should have strong experience in performing proof of concept (PoC) on automation tools, framework for Functional, Non-Functional using Desktop based products
Should have experience in using any Version Control tools like GIT, ClearCase.
Experience in Agile Methodology of Software Product Development using Scrum. • Expertise in STLC and SDLC
Experience in any one of defect management Azure DevOps/Microsoft Team Foundation Server/JIRA etc.
Experience in analyzing complex requirements and ability to develop tests and workflows based on the requirements and test processes
Good communication skills both verbal and written in a concise and accurate manner in English as a medium of communication
