Requires, hands-on, strong in-depth and deployment-tested knowledge of Layer 3 and Layer 2 technologies.
Familiarity with simulators, virtual machines, distributed networks and virtualization.
Understanding of optical technologies like DWDM will be an added advantage.
Customer and Quality champion – be able to review, provide comments and approve Functional specifications, Technical Requirements, Design test plans for high quality product and higher customer satisfaction.
Hands-on leader who can root cause and solve complex defects, often working with cross-functional teams, software design and customer support
Developed skills as an excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to influence and also the ability to absorb, germinate, and evolve new ideas in collaboration with other contributors
Working exposure on Linux system, Strong programming and trouble shooting skills.
Familiarity with product cycles and deployment journeys for carrier class products in Service Provider customer environments
Education and Experience:
6+ year of experience in Manual Testing and Automation.
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.
