As a Performance Test Analyst, you will be involved in Performance Test Strategy, preparation and Execution activities in the project. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and analyze performance tests. This position requires good knowledge in LoadRunner and the ability to work independently or within a team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner or similar tools.
Create and maintain performance test scenarios, including workload modeling, data setup, and test data management.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Analyze test results, identify performance issues, and provide actionable recommendations.
Develop and maintain performance test strategy, including test planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to define performance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
Essential skills
Proficiency in LoadRunner required.
Good to have working knowledge of JMeter, Blazemeter, etc.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
Experience with any performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of performance testing activities.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desired skills
ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
Experience with SAP or cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C, Java ).
