As a part of the System Test Team, Performance Test Engineer you will focus on creating automating and maintaining Performance/stress, Scalability and Reliability test scenarios using JMeter.
You will execute the benchmark tests on a scheduled basis using Jenkins orchestration infrastructure to ensure newer code changes do not result in product degradation.
You will focus and ensure that the feature meets our customer’s expectation on the moves/hour performance criteria.
You will and can challenge the Developers/Architects and help build high quality and efficient products that serve eco system integration.
Required Skills
3-6 years of relevant technical experience in performance testing required.
Extensive experience with automated performance, reliability and scalability testing in enterprise applications that use relational DB structures and App server.
Experience using any one programming or scripting languages (Java, Ruby, Python or Groovy).
Experience in any one or more performance test tools (e.g, JMeter, Performance-Center, Grinder).
Experience using profiling tools (such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, VisualVM, etc.) to identify root causes of performance issues
Experience in debugging distributed applications on Windows, Linux operating systems.
Outstanding grasp of performance testing subsystems, networking subsystems, security and storage technologies.
Experience in using source control and Devops tools (e.g, Git, SVN, Maven, Ansible, Docker, Team City /Jenkins etc.).
Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines.
Exposure to any cloud providers (aws, azure, GCP,etc..)
