Extensive experience with automated performance, reliability and scalability testing in Java enterprise applications that use relational and NoSQL DB structures and App servers like Tomcat
Extensive understanding of testing software in on-prem and Cloud (AWS or Azure) setups
Experience with Groovy scripting, JMeter, and load injection scripting
Experience in debugging distributed applications on Windows, Linux/Unix operating systems
Outstanding grasp of performance testing subsystems, networking subsystems, security and storage technologies
Extensive experience in conducting and interpreting performance/stress volumes (100’s of transactions handled by a server in seconds) to pinpoint bottleneck in the system
Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines
Creative and effective in oral and written communication, ability to communicate with all stakeholders in distributed teams
Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and agile SDLC environment
Experience with tools such as TeamCity, GIT/SVN, Junit is a plus
Additional expertise
Experience and capability to simulate system-level failures
Understanding of Virtual Machines, Microservices, SpringBoot framework, Cloud infrastructure, and monitoring tools
Exposure to Application Performance Management Tools and Techniques
