This is a Performance Test Manager role for System, System Integration or End-to-End testing for projects that require changes to one or several systems. The key purpose of the role is:
Delivery of performance testing services to projects.
Providing detailed information to project stakeholders about how an application or system under test will perform under simulated production conditions.
Exploration of system behaviour under load, stress and soak scenarios as required based on perceived risks for the project.
Create Test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, and data.
Execute Test and collate evidence.
Defect reporting and tracking.
Support more junior team members or lead a small team of more junior test engineers.
Monitor team progress and Communicate with stakeholders on test engineering status.
What will you be doing?
Support estimation of performance testing engagements on the project and own through analysis before suggesting the solution.
Support projects in clarifying performance acceptance criteria or performance related NFRs
Develop and communicate performance test strategy and gain stakeholder buy in for it
Work with project stakeholders to ensure performance test environment and data requirements are met
Develop and test performance test scripts
Develop and test performance test scenarios
Run performance test scenarios & Analyse performance test results
Communicate performance test results to project stakeholders
Support project teams in diagnosis and resolution of performance related defects
Deliver performance test improvement initiatives
Conform to established good practice and any appropriate standards on performance testing.
What we’re looking for:
Graduate with technical background
Minimum 8 years of experience on performance testing with HP load runner and test automation, API/ services
PMP and ISTQB/QAI certification will be an advantage
Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage
Good verbal and written communication
Skills that will help you in the role:
