Own the small 3 members functional QA team.
This position involves testing of web and web services applications.
Responsible for designing the test strategy, test case writing, test data setup, test execution both manual & functional activities as part of testing life cycle.
Support the test strategy and execution for business, client, FIS corporate driven projects.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of QA/UAT/Production environments.
Understand business requests and interact with product owners for the existing products.
Involve in maintaining internal functional test automation framework.
Responsible for writing test automation for all the webs services.
Responsible for designing and executing the performance test strategy for web applications and web services.
Participate in annual clients’ UAT.
Involve in test automation lab maintenance.
Hiring, Training, Mentoring & Coaching test analysts on various testing aspects including automation.
Support all organization quality metrics on time and contribute in continuous improvements.
Design test strategies key multi-year migration projects including Angular adoption, BPM solution, security vulnerability remediation.
Providing production support for the hosted web portal and web services during the annual tax season.
Continuously improve the team engagement scores.
Participate in FIS Innovation365 program by encouraging & motivating the team for innovative ideas.
Knowledge / Experience
Should possess thorough impact analysis skills and should be adaptive to learn new technologies.
Proven experience in functional and automation testing with minimum 6-7 years of experience.
Minimum 6 years of work experience with web technologies testing and automation.
Minimum 5 years of database work experience with any major RDBMS. (Sybase/MYSQL/MariaDB)
Knowledge on any version control tool (Subversion, GIT).
Good finance domain knowledge (Capital markets and tax reporting to the IRS)
Require extensive experience in test automation for web portal using selenium-based data driven framework.
Required extensive experience in test automation of web services using Postman, SoapUI pro.
Experience in performance testing for web applications and web services.
Require experience in working on Agile environment with Capital Market/Finance domain experience.
Hands on Knowledge and expertise in Unix and at least one RDBMS.
Good knowledge on web full stack development technologies including Angular, Spring, Hibernate and other.
Good knowledge on web services both SOAP and REST, as well as MicroServices architecture.
Knowledge on tools like JIRA/Test case management tools.
Knowledge on functional/Regression test automation for python and Perl application
Should investigate and solve issues independently.
Should be able to work as individual contributor.
Knowledge of the financial services
Knowledge on NoSQL DB (MongoDB)
Should possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed.
Exposure to the cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Or Masters degree or equivalent in Computer science or Information technology.
Understanding of Agile/Non-agile methodology.
