Performing all aspects of testing including writing test planning documentation, executing testing tasks, analyze test results and documenting defects
Development of test plans and test strategies, and experience designing based on high-level requirements or use cases
Development of test automation tools and frameworks for integration into CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience with microservices testing
Report defects for test failures and drive them to closure
Active participation in design and architecture discussions
Troubleshoot problems in application and system functionality and performance
Research, evaluate and implement new testing tools and products
Perform manual and ad-hoc testing of applications
Document and describe tests and results
What you will bring
Essential:
Strong knowledge of and working experience in test automation development using Python, Go, Shell, Perl, and/or Java
Strong hands-on knowledge in developing product and feature test suites
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Github, Jenkins, Bamboo and building test automation into CI/CD pipelines
Experience in remote API testing of RESTful, OpenAPI and/or gRPC APIs
Good knowledge of firewalls and networking
Strong knowledge of container testing, understanding, practice and security
Familiarity with Docker image building and Dockerfiles
Knowledge of container orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes)
12 factor app development understanding and ability to validate
Motivated self-starter with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to details
Desirable:
Experience with the technology stack which includes C, linux, webservices and technologies, Python, AngularJS
Experience with software/cyber security, firewall and security development is a big plus
Knowledge/experience working with AWS and/or Azure is strongly desirable
Experience working in an Agile Development environment
