Responsibilities:
As part of the Cloud Quality and Reliability team you will be responsible for leading and contributing for the functional, system and automation testing of various features and solutions of the Zscaler.
Given technical guidance to automation, functional and system test team.
Contribute, Lead and Expand automation coverage and infrastructure to improve the quality and efficiency of testing.
Understand requirements, develop an exhaustive test plan, execute manual and automated test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes and articulate defects clearly.
Deliver a high-quality robust product in a fast-paced environment.
Work with L4 and support team for the escalations and work till end to end closures.
Be part of hiring and training new talent.
Work closely with the Development, Product Management, and cloud Operations teams from design to release of the product/feature.
Define cloud deployment procedures and monitors/alerts for the features and work with the cloud deployment team for the implementation.
Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.
Qualifications
Graduate or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Quality Domain in a networking and security environment.
Experience in leading small quality teams on functional and automation skills.
Strong networking skills on all the layers and well versed with TCP, UDP, ICMP protocols.
Strong automation skills in developing , creating frameworks and guiding the team.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Self-starter, takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks; goal driven
Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong in computer science fundamentals
Good understanding of database schema, modeling, Rest APIs , Hypervisors and microservices architecture.
Demonstrate good debugging and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Linux system administration , debugging and management is a plus
Experience setting testbeds in a Virtualization environment is desirable.
Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN clients is a plus.
Certification in any of the cloud domain, networking domain and automation domain is desired.
In-depth knowledge of Proxy, Firewalls, Routers, IDS, IPS, Data protection, encryption solutions and authentication systems (LDAP, SAML, etc.)
Knowledge of Enterprise/Service Provider Network Security Deployments
Proficient in Internet and Security protocols especially TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and Key Management
Scripting experience; TCL, Expect, Python etc
In-depth knowledge of linux/Mac and windows OS.
Good to have Experience with linux based tools and traffic generations tool like Ixia, spirent
