Job Description

Position summary: (Quality Analyst)
We are looking for bright, energetic, and self-motivated candidates to join our dynamic Analytics team. This role would require to do a QA of all reporting deliverables based on the reporting requirements stated by Client/DTL/Analyst.
The individual need to have strong Quality and testing skills along with knowledge on Data, Analysis and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Determine and document root cause analysis related to data quality errors and recommend remediation activities
Perform analysis of data sets used for reporting and the report itself. Identify errors/defects in data and report to required stakeholders
Writes business rules and requirements that establish known or unknown deviations and responses to deviations, along with documenting concerns based on established provider data management policies and procedures
Maintain a set of scripted test cases and scenarios for regression testing and create new test cases, as needed
Review test cases and scenarios with analysts and functional domain owners and users for participation in pre- and post-testing environments, with a focus on objective(s), scope, and methodology; document and provide approval/sign-off for recommended changes
Build automated techniques to automate QA process and procedure
Provide feedback and training/re-education of team members to increase data accuracy and veracity
Perform other Analytics duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
Database knowledge- SQL / Analytical skills – Data Analysis and Reporting
Data warehousing -Understanding of different schema, Creation of SQL based on ERD

The Experience You Will Need (Required):
Must have a bachelor’s degree preferably with a quantitative major (e.g. engineering ,actuarial, statistics, operations research, mathematics, economics) or healthcare (health administration, epidemiology, public health, biology)
1-3 years of professional experience including recent work as Quality Analyst or Tester
Independent thinker with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with varying timelines
Willingness to develop and explore new approaches, adapt, and execute quickly and be comfortable with ambiguous project outlines
Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and personalities
Exceptionally strong analytical abilities, with track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data
Excellent communication skills, demonstrates professionalism and excels at distilling complex data into digestible messages for the client

Mandatory Skills:
Experience in Report and Data Testing
Very good hands-on experience with SQL
Experience in Client handling, User requirement analysis and User support

Preferred Skills(Optional):
Significant experience in working with healthcare domain
Experience working at an analytics consulting firm, analytics or EMR vendor, disease/case management company, health insurer, or provider system
Proven track record of driving insightful findings from data, preferably in a payer/provider context
Excel/VBA experience for automating reporting
BI Tool, ETL knowledge
