Well versed in Test Report preparation, Defect Tracking & Reporting and present this to senior management
Writing test cases and executing them
Understand the business need and develop user cases to catch defects early in the cycle.
Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team
Running regression and automation suite
Suggest solutions to identified product problems
Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Work independently and Mentor Team where needed
Skills:
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools like HP Application Lifecycle Management and Jira
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process
Ability to think abstractly and solve complex problems
Expertise in Web Service (Rest & SOAP) testing.
Thorough understanding of SDLC
Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
Web application testing experience
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical, business, and functional information
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, tested software on time
Creativity, Personal Drive, Influencing and Negotiating, Problem Solving.
Good inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills.
Should be a good team player.
Exposure to any of SCM functional area would be an advantage.
Having PLM, PIM Domain knowledge will be added advantage
Having exposure to Automation Framework and Scripting would be desirable.
