Job Summary:
To participate in the execution, verification and contribute in documentation of test plan for the Invesco US web and mobile presence. Responsibilities include to support in preparation of the project test plan and day-to-day management of bug tracking and reporting. Test plan and use cases will support accurate testing of web applications, html pages and content supporting key US clients.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Conduct automation feasiability and able to provide detailed report
Should be able to help seniors in designing versatile automated frameworks
Should be professient in programming languages.
Evaluate test results and findings.
Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client (If required).
Effectively communicate with the clients
Contribute to framework architecture.
Debug and review the code.
Cascade the review comments and lessons learnt.
Mentor the team whenever required.
Help peers and subordinates in developing reusable functions and framework enhancements in case of automation testing.
Present or demo the automation functions to stakeholders whenever required
Extend help to seniors in automation tool evaluation and other value added deliverables.
Extend help to cross-platforms whenever required.
Reviewing the test artifacts.
Cascade all relevant information to management whenever required.
Circulate daily/weekly/monthly status reports.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum five year experience on manual and automated testing.
Experience with web and mobile testing preferred.
Knowledge of the Financial Industry preferred.
Previous Agile/Scrum Team experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C++, etc
Expertise in any of automated testing tools, like Selenium, QTP, Rational Robot, etc
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and atleast five years of work experience in software quality assurance.
